Consider removing unnecessary fluorescent lights and replacing them with reflectors. Painting dark walls a lighter color can also maximize the lighting in your office.

Turn your audio gear, TV, DVD and any other electrical equipment off at the plug. Most electronic gear is not completely off even when switched to “off”.
